Cornerways

Cornerways is located close to the seafront of Preston Sands in Paignton. The home was formerly a hotel and has undergone a programme of expansion and upgrades.

Cornerways is registered for 50 residents predominantly in private rooms although there are two double rooms. The home is arranged over three floors with a central lift to each floor. The home has a variety of communal spaces for residents to enjoy including a light and airy dining room, choice of lounges and a conservatory. The home has a patio area for residents to enjoy but also makes use of its proximity to the seafront.

Cornerways provides specialist dementia care of residents. It works closely with all local G.P surgeries, district nurse teams, and other medical professionals. Cornerways provides a safe environment so that residents can enjoy as much independence and mental and physical stimulation as possible.

Cornerways has been completely upgraded by Peninsula at a cost of several hundred thousand pounds and we believe that it is one of the best homes in the Bay area. It recently received CQUIN Certification from Torbay Care Trust and was the outright winner in one category of the quality assessment. Only 28 out of 41 homes in Torbay have achieved this recognition outright so you can be confident choosing Cornerways as you home.
