It is widely recognised that physical and mental stimulation is important for our well-being. It is for this reason that we invest heavily in our activity programme within each home. Our activities focus on physical health, social wellbeing, and spiritual and psychological needs.

Residents are encouraged to participate wherever possible but we will always respect an individual’s wishes. Many residents rekindle an interest in old hobbies as well as discovering new ones. For example, one resident rekindled her interest in playing the piano after a gap of 50 years.

A range of activities are on offer and vary between homes, with each consideration for each residents wishes. Examples include:-

  • Quizzes
  • Bingo
  • Skittles and other games
  • IPad groups
  • Knitting
  • Painting and other arts & crafts
