Meet Cheryl Anniky, our Plymbridge Manager

Posted on

Hello, I’m Cheryl Anniky, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have joined Plymbridge House as the new Manager. With over three decades of experience in the social care sector, my journey began as a carer. This role instilled in me the values of compassion, empathy, and the profound impact of dedicated care.

My career progression led me to become an experienced Registered Manager, specialising in areas that resonate deeply with me: dementia care, end-of-life support, and promoting dignity and respect for all individuals. These aspects are not just professional pursuits but are deeply personal passions that guide my work every day.

Communication is at the core of my approach. I strongly believe in fostering positive relationships, not only with the people living in the home and their families but also with Plymbridge’s incredible team who are at the frontline of care. I understand that open and honest communication is vital in creating a supportive and collaborative environment.

At the heart of everything I do lies a simple yet profound principle: To always do my best for the people I support. My aim is to ensure exceptional person-centred care for all. I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, empathy, and understanding. Each person has a unique story and deserves to be heard and valued.

My commitment to this aim shapes the way I manage and lead, always striving for excellence and continuous improvement. I look forward to contributing my experience, knowledge, and dedication to Plymbridge House, working alongside a team that clearly shares the same ethos. Together, I am confident that we will continue to provide an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and cared for in a way that enriches their lives and honours their individuality.
