Introducing Dr Tom, Coppelia House’s entry to this year's Moretonhampstead Scarecrow Trail which runs until early September. Our scarecrow, Dr Tom, was inspired by our local GP who has supported us throughout the pandemic. Our staff, those of Moretonhampstead Health Centre and the local community have been amazing at supporting everyone at Coppelia House during the pandemic. The 2021 scarecrow trail has 28 scarecrows dotted around Moretonhampstead. You can purchase maps and entry forms from the Information Centre or Larry's the Newsagents for £4.
We hope that the Scarecrow trail will be as successful as the first year it ran in 2019. It was the Moretonhampstead Information Centre’s fundraising event of the year and raised a lot of funds for them. In 2019 there were 40 scarecrows to see in all shapes and sizes and depict various film characters. Coppelia House’s entry was Grandpa Joe from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
